The festivities include the annual Holiday Treats for the Animals event on the weekend of December 7-8. During this event, the sea otter exhibit will be decked out for the “sea”son with decorations and a real snowman, and visitors can watch the otters savor candy cane-shaped lobster treats.
Aquarium staff will also give special gift delicacies to penguins, sea lions, and other animals.
Children can enjoy holiday crafts along with appearances by Santa Diver, photo opportunities with Santa and holiday characters, and all the Aquarium holiday festivities.
There is so much to do and see at the Aquarium.
You can even lay down and pretend sleep next to the fishes.
Our visit to the Aquarium of the Pacific was a hosted event, so I may share about what all the Aquarium has to offer during the holiday season.
The Aquarium has one of the best PR teams and I am blessed to have the opportunity to work with them.

Winter Camp Programs
WHAT: This winter parents can enroll their children in winter day camps specially tailored to different ages ranges from five to fifteen. During the Aquarium’s Sea Squirt Winter Camp, Winter Day Camp, and Winter Teen Overnight, children and teens can explore different animals and regions of the Pacific Ocean.
For kids ages five and six, the Sea Squirt Winter Day Camp provides an introductory course to the life that exists in the Pacific Ocean. Topics cover the lives and the habitats of wiggly fish and furry mammals. Aquarium staff members will guide campers as they participate in crafts, games, and tours. Sea Squirt Winter Day Camp allows young children to explore, interact, and develop questions independently. Children will be able to touch the animals in the private classroom touch pool.
The Aquarium’s Winter Day Camp is for children ages seven to twelve. This day camp will take children on an adventure into the depths of the Pacific Ocean through interactive learning at the Aquarium. Students will be able to explore marine life through hands-on activities, including games and crafts. They also visit behind-the-scenes areas, meet animal care staff members, and help feed the animals that call the Aquarium home. Topics for Winter Day Camp include cold-water habitats, penguins, and polar bears.
Teens can dive deep and enjoy a night sleeping with the fishes in this teens-only event for ages thirteen to fifteen. Participants can start the night with a pizza party before becoming an ocean explorer to discover the mysteries of the deep sea. This overnight camp program includes Aquarium exploration, hands-on activities, pizza party, light snack, cereal breakfast, and a souvenir T-shirt.
